Crime Information:
On Monday, January 9, 2017 1:55 p.m. the 73 year old victim was sitting in front of the apartments at 6131 N 27th Ave waiting for a ride to pick him up. The suspect approached and demanded money. The victim refused and walked away. The suspect followed the victim and pushed him, causing the victim to fall over a bench and hit his head on a wall. The suspect then reached into the victim’s pocket and took his money. The victim was seriously injured and transported to the hospital. The suspect was last seen running south on 27th Ave, then possibly behind the Food City at 6025 N 27th Ave.
