On Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 4:00 a.m., the victim was sleeping on the sidewalk when he was approached by a Hispanic male who attempted to steal his backpack while he slept. There was a brief struggle and the victim was shot, he later died from his injuries at the hospital. Investigators are seeking any information in regard to this incident.
