Crime Information:
On Saturday, January 31, 2004 at about 1:12 a.m., Mateo Sandoval and three friends were leaving the parking lot in their vehicle at 717 South Central Avenue, Phoenix. A group of subjects were in the parking lot and a verbal altercation turned in to a physical fight between the unknown group and Mateo Sandoval’s group. Shots were fired from someone in the unknown group and Mateo was fatally wounded. There were over 100 people at the time of the shooting.
