On Friday, August 22, 2003 at approximately 10:07a.m., Mack Rue was shot and killed by occupant(s) in a small white car while Mack was driving his vehicle westbound on the I-10 Freeway between approximately 67th and 75th Avenues. His 3 year old son was in the car and unharmed. Mack was driving a 1999 dark green Plymouth Neon. Investigators are seeking any information about this incident.
