On Sunday, May 28, 2023 at approximately 11:30 p.m., an unknown subject fired a weapon upon a vehicle traveling in the area of N. Shuttle Rd and W. Hilltop Rd in the Gila River Indian Community in Sacaton, AZ. The passenger of the vehicle Sierra Austin a 24 year old female, was struck by the gunfire and died from her injuries. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
