On Monday, July 10, 1978 at approximately 06:02 a.m., 23 year old Fernando Calleros and an adult female were found in the bed of a pickup truck in the area of 3000 E Illini Street. Fernando Calleros was beaten to death. The adult female victim was beaten and sexually assaulted. On Thursday, April 9, 2020, Glenn Williams was arrested for his involvement in the incident. It is unknown at the time if other suspect(s) were involved.
