On Saturday, May 4, 2002, at approximately 2:51 a.m., Martha Lydia Rangel and a companion were shot while in front of her residence at 4914 E. Brill Street. While the companion survived, Martha Lydia Rangel died at the scene. The suspect was seen driving a light blue or possibly grey 2-door Ford Thunderbird with tinted windows. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
