On Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 7:00 a.m., the victim was walking when the suspect approached the victim and demanded his shoes. The victim attempted to ignore the suspect, who then grabbed the victim and placed him in a choke hold. The victim fought back and with the help of a bystander, forced the suspect to flee the area before taking any property. Surveillance photos of the suspect were captured in the area.
