On Friday, July 19, 2019, an adult male Labrador Retriever was found in the area of the Beeline Highway and McDowell Road. The dog was injured and taken to the Arizona Human Society by a Good Samaritan. A
Veterinarian provided medical care to the animal, but it was determined the dogs front paws had the circulation cut off for an extended period and due to the nature of the injuries had to be euthanized. The dog
had no microchip or collar when it was found, and the injuries were deemed to have been caused intentionally. Investigators are seeking any information in regard to this incident.
