On Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 7:55 p.m., three people were in the front yard of a residence in the area of 4600 S. 17th Way when they were hit by gunfire believed to come from the occupants of a dark colored sedan. One of the victims, Shirley Taylor, later died from her injuries.
