On Sunday, August 24, 2003 at approximately 11:15p.m., Gerald Dewayne Cobbs was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds in the roadway near 2400 South 24th Avenue. Witness reported seeing a white 1980’s S-10 pickup truck leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
