On Friday, September 17, 2004 at approximately 9:53 p.m., Douglas Stephen Gomez was found deceased from blunt force trauma in a burning 1989 Chevrolet van near area of 2700 East Marguerite Avenue. Witness saw a male subject running from the van prior to the van being engulfed in flames. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
