On Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at approximately 5:04 a.m., an unknown year Chevy Tahoe that was described as white in color, appears to have been traveling westbound on Augusta when it ran over the victim Connie Oliver. The unknown driver then fled the scene without rendering aid or calling for help. The victim was transported to the hospital and died from her injuries. The driver and vehicle are outstanding at this time. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
