On Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:36 a.m., the suspect entered Circle K located at 8248 West Thomas Road in Phoenix. He asked for a pack of Newport cigarettes then said that he forgot his wallet and had to go back to his car to get it. When the suspect came back into the store, he lifted his shirt, showed the clerk a handgun in his waistband, and told the clerk to give him the cigarettes. The suspect left in the listed vehicle.
