On Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Andrew Barela was walking south on North 45th Avenue. As he approached West Weldon Avenue, a red Mustang drove towards Andrew and stopped as he crossed in front of the car. There was a brief conversation and the driver of the Mustang shot Andrew.
