On Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 4:40 a.m., the victim was walking to his vehicle that was parked in the area of 3300 West Shumway Farm Road. As he approached his vehicle, he was confronted by the suspect who shot him in the chest. The suspect then fled eastbound into the neighborhood. The victim survived the injuries. The person of interest was with the suspect, but fled the scene prior to the shooting.
