On Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 7:50 p.m., the victim was walking home from church and crossing 43rd
Avenue mid-block when he was struck by a dark colored Honda or Nissan Sedan. The vehicle failed to stop
and remain on scene and was last seen Southbound on 43rd Avenue. The victim was transported to the
hospital and he died from his injuries.
