On Thursday, May 17, 2001 at about 12:00 p.m., Alissa Turney was last seen in the area of East Bell Road and North 34th Street in Phoenix. This was the last day of her junior year at Paradise Valley High School. A note, allegedly from Alissa, was found claiming that she was running away to California. Investigators advise that the circumstances of her disappearance are suspicious and add that any information about Alissa could be valuable.
