Crime Information:
On Saturday, November 13, 2021 Gila River Police responded to the area of 51st Avenue and Komatke Lane in Laveen, Arizona ( within the boundaries of the Gila River Indian Community ). This area is in close proximity to the Vee Quiva Casino. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and she was deceased in the desert area. The victim was transient and was often in the Phoenix area and she had “no known ties” to the Gila River Indian Community were found. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
