On October 31, 2006 at approximately 3:00 a.m. the victim, Efren Gonzales-Herrera was shot and killed in the area of 4800 N. 63rd Avenue as he drove home from work. After the victim was shot, his vehicle then crashed into a block wall at 4802 N. 63rd Avenue. Efren was transported to the hospital where he died.
