SR-51 northbound at Thomas Road
Crime Information:
On Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m., an adult female called 911 about 3 Hispanic males who were
chasing her in a white truck. When Officers located the scene, Dinya Farmer’s vehicle had crashed into the
median on SR-51 between McDowell and Thomas Road. She was found with apparent gunshot injuries and later
died at the hospital. Dinya may have been followed by the suspect from 7th Avenue / Broadway, which increases
the likelihood that there was an unknown pre-incident instead of random violence or road rage. Investigators are
seeking any information regarding this incident.
