On Friday, May 31, 1991 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Steven Portillo and 2 of his brothers were shot by suspects in a vehicle while in the front yard of their residence in the vicinity of 5226 S. 19th Avenue. The suspects fled and Steven Portillo later died at a hospital. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
