Armed Robbery / Family Dollar and employee / 3555 E. Van Buren Street

Crime Information:

On June 3, 2023, at about 4:15 p.m. an adult male suspect is seen entering the family dollar store located at 3555 East Van Buren Street. After selecting several items and placing them into a shopping cart, the man leaves the store without paying. When confronted by an employee, the suspect removes a box cutter type knife and threatens to cut the employee. The suspect then flees the area on foot with the stolen merchandise.
